But it could just as easily be \u2018A healthy mind in a healthy body\u2026 with a glass of wine in hand!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spring is conducive to foodie walks and hikes in among the vines of the Beaujolais region. When you take a love of nature and mix it with an enthusiasm for winegrowing, grass becomes glass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are vineyard discovery walks for all fitness levels in a number of municipalities in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Foodie trails in Marcy-sur-Anse<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This sun-lit village in Pierres Dor\u00e9es country offers a walking trail combined with visits to four wineries. As summer draws nearer, the days get longer as does the walking circuit in the municipality of Chiroubles.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five kilometres of food and wine tasting in the heart of the vines and forest await you in July. Take a stroll around the \u201ccharrois\u201d in Langini\u00e9 with a spring in your step and a joyful heart.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What is a charroi? It&#8217;s a typical Beaujolais word for the paths between the vines. As an informed amateur, you&#8217;ll be able to see the grapes growing up close on AOC Beaujolais Villages territory. Every 1.5 km, your efforts will be rewarded with a food and drink treat, and by the end of the walk you will have eaten a full meal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a picturesque gastronomic walk and once done you&#8217;ll be hooked.
