All year round social occasions
In the Beaujolais region, the doors are open to visitors from January to December!
The many events and festivals are an opportunity to get to know the region’s wines and winegrowers. Among them are the fête des Crus du Beaujolais in the spring, foodie walks in the warm weather, the Juliénales in summer and the Sarmentelles in November.
But most of all the Beaujolais winegrowers welcome you all year round to their cellars. They will be delighted to talk to you about their profession, take you to visit their estate, show you where they store their wines and let you see the vats where the must is transformed into a heavenly tipple. And of course you won't leave without having tasted the wine!
Beaujolais: a region, its wines and a very personal welcome
To make the quality of the welcome both official and visible Inter Beaujolais has selected for you over 200 wine cellars that offer tastings and direct sales that meet the criteria in the "Beaujolais: a region, its wines and a personal welcome” charter.
From the first contact by telephone or email to the moment you leave the Beaujolais region, including the initial welcome and the assistance and services you receive throughout your stay, whether it's long or short, every effort is made to ensure you are totally satisfied.
Your hosts also take particular care in ensuring that their premises are well set up, well signposted and with plenty of information available on the services offered. These services include guided tours of vineyards and cellars with commentary in several languages, the possibility of booking a “machôn” (typical Lyonnais meal), accommodation in the heart of the winegrowing area, and workshops and presentations for children.
The entire region and its tasting cellars are just waiting to welcome you. All you need to do is come and visit to enjoy the Beaujolais welcome yourself.
Simple, easy and friendly!
